A Million Miles in a Thousand Years: What I Learned While Editing My Life A Million Miles in a Thousand Years: What I Learned While Editing My Life by Donald Miller

My rating: 4 of 5 stars
If you like Blue Like Jazz… you will like Donald Miller’s new book “A Million Miles in a Thousand Years: What I Learned While Editing My Life.”  This book is an interesting cavalcade of different stops along the journey of balancing the aurora of the bright lights of Hollywood and staying true to yourself. The question is if two men would come up to you and say… we want to make a movie of your life.  But we are going to need to spice it up a bit and recreate and re-imagine other parts to make the story stronger and more sellable.  What would you do?  Would you go along and help them fictionalize your life?  Would you take the money and run? That is the question that Donald Miller has to answer and the journey which he embarks on.  We are like the silent in the back seat of the car.  There are some great times, bad times, sad times, laughing so hard you cry times, and everything in between. You might not agree with everything he does or says but it is a good book.I got a copy of this book to review as a blogger from Thomas Nelson.  I was not paid or influenced in any way to write this review.
