SUPPORT ACTS

OUT OF TOWN BANDS - Generally we will sort a local support for you.  We will let you know the details as soon as we have confirmation. If you have anyone in mind please let us know! LOCAL BANDS - We expect you to find a suitable support act - this must be confirmed with us previous to the gig.

PA – SOUNDCHECK

If you do not have your own PA we will supply one for you, however, you will need to bring your own MICS and LEADS, and we need to know well in advance. Please be here for 7.30 at the latest to set up and soundcheck. Generally the support act will go on at 9-9.30. The entire gig should finish no later than 11.30pm.

FEE

We pay the headlining band 10% of the bar takings from 7.30 to close. Thus if you bring a large crowd with you, you'll be taking home more money! Please note: Like most venues WE DO NOT PAY TO PLAY - WE EXPECT YOU TO PROMOTE THE GIG AS BEST YOU CAN. BANDS THAT DO NOT DO SO WILL NOT BE ASKED BACK. It's always an idea to add local bands and fans (you may find several in our friends) and bulletin the gig - we also advise you to contact the support acts as soon as possible to arrange promo material etc.

PROMOTION

We need these at least 2 weeks before the gig. We will distribute these for you but would also advise you to do as much advertising as possible yourselves to ensure a good turnout and a decent fee! Bands that do not supply promotional material WILL NOT BE PAID.

BACKLINE

Generally it is up to you and the other acts to sort equipment issues between you. However, should you have any specific problems we will do our best to help!


OTHER
We take our licensing responsibilities extremely seriously. NO under 18's will be allowed on the premises at any time.
