Who Gives Kudos:

Monday, June 18, 2007

Last week Kat and I were invited to participate in a biweekly podcast put on by indieradiochattanooga.com. We talked a little about ourselves, the local and independent music scene, a little about the music biz at the indie level, and a few other topics. Got to listen to a few tunes by some indie artists, including a couple that we have done (original and cover). We had a blast. If you have the time, please visit

Our show is #3. You can download the show or if you don't have an i-pod you can simply click on listen. Let it load and listen away. The show is about an hour long so give yourself a little time.

Thanks so much to Jimi Lee and Smoke for taking the time and putting these podcasts on every other week. They do an awesome job. If you are an independent artist, you may want to contact them and submit your stuff!

Rock on ~

Hey Kat and Eric, I totally enjoyed listening to this. Your version of "I'm Losing You" is awesome! Kat, I really like your voice....and the arrangements are great. Thanks for sharing!

Your comments on the local music scene brought back lots of memories of dragging amps and equipment in and out of the back doors of Nashville music clubs in the 1980's. Not that I've ever done that personally, but I have memories of watching other people do it while I drank beer nearby.

Oddly, we too have memories of watching other people lug equipment while we drank beer nearby. Maybe that's why we no longer have any other band mates!

Just kidding, of course. Yeah, we have lugged our share of speaker cabinets and such. It is even harder when music clubs don't HAVE a back door but only a front. Then you have to dodge all the folks still remaining well after the show! "Last Call" seemed to last an awful long time.
