Okay not how to start this so I will jump right in. This subject I will talk about kills me inside.

First I want to say there are many really good people on the net. Honest, above board and I have felt so grateful to have interacted/written or talked to many, but there are an equal number of not so nice people.

I am talking predetors/pedophiles the unsavories we do not want to think about but folks they are out there...

Parents have been warned about monitoring their childrens activities online and chat rooms but its not so much the childrens activities I am worried about its the parents!

The parents are proud of their offspring and rightly so..I have seen many baby pics and kids pics that have made me smile and laugh so hard with the families but there is a huge downfall to this~sigh~

Facebook. My Space. Twitter and I can't remember all the names of the sites but you guys know social networking is there and in most cases its great but parents need to realize those oh so adorable pics on your profile are viewable to the public and the public is everyone. Your child or you is published worldwide.

Perverts and pedophiles do not think these pics are cute they have a sickness and visualize nasty unmentionable things. I don't have to name the stuff as everyone can figure it out.



There is alot of education out there for parents to help prevent their kids from falling into traps online but don't you think the parents need to be educated as well????

I do!!!



Anyone who thinks they can control what goes on the internet and stays there is not living in the real world. Every word or image you publish even if deleted afterwards is out there maybe copied maybe just out there floating in cyber space ready to be snatched by someone with alterior motives.

All I am trying to say is if you have adorable kids pics you want your friends that  you know to see make your profile private  and use a generic pic on your profile maybe of a cake or home cooking. There are alot of hackers out there as we know and yup you know some are perverts and predetors too.

Please just think about what I am saying..Remove baby and kids pics form profiles, do not let your kids use their photo's on profile use something else cool and just allow real time friends...Take precaution with your precious kids..I love seeing the pics but when I look at the other side of coin I cringe...

Using your childs pic as a profile pics is making it easier for pedophiles and the likes zoom in on your child.

A adults we make a concious decision what profile pics to use so we supposedly know what we are doing  and if you choose to use a sexy pic well be aware its NOT PRIVATE AND YOU MAY BE MAKING YOURSELF A TARGET and  you are taking that risk but using your kids as profile pic please please think of what you are doing.

You may or may not be using your address but your state/Province and usually if you blog is giving alot more detail to where you are then you realize.Postal code zip code all clues for a sicko to fasinate on.
