Last night I asked people to list the songs they'd like for me to have on my playlist so they can add them on their page. When I woke up today I had so many responses that I gave up trying to keep a tally. Here are the songs I ended up posting on my playlist:

Crack Pipes
Runaways
Climb Trees
Waterline
Escape Artist
Slow Down Gandhi
Sea Lion
Broken Wings
Inherited Scars
The Cure (offering it as a free download)

Thank you for the recommendations. I apologize for not being able to accommodate everyone. Some of the songs that got a lot of votes will replace whatever songs tend to not get played.  At some point I plan to have every song I've made streaming at www.StrangeFamous.com

Here's the full list of suggestions people sent since last night. Some of these made me laugh, some of my personal favorites are missing, but mostly I'm impressed that people remember the obscure stuff.

Cmon, tell us what your personal favorites are before we all drive to our parents' houses and kill them in their sleep- out of frustration, obviously

I think you're the sickest lyricist out there other than Rakim, personally. I met you at Paid Dues last year and you were really cool too. Much respect, Sage. PEACE.

You know you want to put Intuition up there at some point though.

It's slowly creeping inside your thoughts as we speak

I'm extremely glad that you kept Slow Down Gandhi. You're the only person I've ever heard tell Gandhi to chill the fuck out. What a message.

Not to mention you called God a bitch... that made me chuckle.

You're the inspiration to my journey, brother.

hey sage. : )
can i just say, being ignored is welcomed
no offense or anything.
i've been a fan of you since before i was in high school, maybe seven or eight years now.
and i feel like a lotta people i've met only know a select few of your songs
which just happen to include most to all of the added.
it's one of those things where you meet someone who lovvvesss sage
and you get said person's ipod and they have just 7 songs.
but everyone you meet has those same seven songs.
and no matter how much music the artist makes, ( in this case, you )
those 7 songs stay steady in rotation with the plus or minus here in there.
because you preach free music, and such i thought maybe you should try to get people whom only know your name because of myspace to hear something different.

(don't get me wrong i love every song you chose, and i don't normally leave mail for artists; but today i'm in a mood, sorry.)

Finally my cry for Crackpipes is heard! I begged you in concert and I surely begged you in post! Haha.

KFC Mother fuckers! Come back to the Carolinas, I hope that wack job didn't ruin it for everyone else, not everyone is a dumb drunk redneck here!

I was hoping for the Threewrite as well, your bitter truths on relationships always hits hard.

Defiantly interested in YOUR personal favorites if you have time to post them, thanks for Crack Pipes, Escape Artist, Broken wings.  Didn't get my votes in but, I Keep moving and Civil Obedience are two more great ones.  Looking at that list, pretty much all of them I can look at and remember listening and loving at one point or another over and over.
Thanks,
Peter

I don't think that's a bad idea at all. However, I think I'll save it for a retrospective type thing where I look back on all songs I've made once I stop making songs. I currently have a few unreleased tracks that I think are some of my best work. but I can't talk about those yet, nor will it mean anything to people if they don't know what I'm talking about. But yeah, this kind of thing will happen soon enough. Thanks.
