Friends!

Happiest of the June's to you!  First a big thank you to everyone who came out to our last two benefits:  for Well House and the Water Festival.  The Benefit for Well House was a tremendous success, raising almost the entire remaining amount to finish their green house.  Last Thursday, many of us enjoyed an evening in the beer garden at the benefit for the Water Festival.  The organizers of the benefit and of the festival itself were very pleased with the amount raised and send out an enthusiastic thank you to everyone who came by.  You are partially responsible for making this year's festival a reality.  Everyone is invited on Saturday, June 20th to the 2009 Water Festival.

"Group Bicycle Ride!"  Sunday, June 14th @ 4:30pm.  Meet at The Meanwhile.  We'll likely take a nice route which includes the sixth street bridge, a west side pub and Founders.  Come ride with us!!!

"A Night of Schlitz"  Wednesday, June 17th from 6-9pm.  $1 Bottles of Schlitz and free Schlitz stuff!  Get there early as the 'stuff' tends to go very quickly!

"Dr. Sketchy's Anti-Art School"  Saturday, June 20th from 5-8pm.  This is a new event for the Meanwhile!  We're very excited about this event and possible follow-up events.  Check out their website or Facebook for more details.

Meanwhile Movies!

As some of you may know, we've been planning to play "The Big Lebowski" for quite some time.  However, it was decided with the Wealthy Theater that we hold off on scheduling it until their liquor license was authorized.  Well, this month the Wealthy Theater will begin serving up the cocktails to members of age.  So get your membership now so you can enjoy cocktails at Meanwhile Films and other Theater events!  Check out the Theater's website for further festivities celebrating their license and the showing of "Lebowski" on June 23rd @ 8pm.
