Artist and Release informationAndrea Esu’s extraordinary passion for music led him to start selecting the first records in 1996 for the Popvenue audience, a reference event for the alternative indie-rock scene in Rome, and later on to present his first radio programs on Radio Citta'Futura.
At the beginning of 2000 Andrea engaged more in house music, influenced by labels such as Classic, Playhouse, Music For Freaks, Poker Flat, Odori and 2020 Vision. Sourcing inspiration from the likes of Derrick Carter, Claude VonStroke, Steve Bug and DJ Sneak, Andrea’s musical style continued to grow and shaped up to produce some huge dance floor bombs like the ones on this release.
When not DJing and producing Andrea manages the artistic programming of the club L-Ektrica and is resident of the night Loaded at Rashomon, both of these clubs are definitive house establishments in Rome.
The track title “Bati Bati Gol” is dedicated to Andrea’s favourite soccer player Gabriel Omar Batistuta from ACF Fiorentina and these tracks are causing a similar stir on dance floors to that felt in Italy’s football stadiums at the point of the most euphoric goals.
