Hello Every one!!!

I first of all want to thank all the authors and publishers who have donated either books or promo items for the various CMN events we have coming up. Your donations are greatly appreicated. The baskets will be made shortly.

If you've would still like to donate to the cause, there is still time. We do have a slight change in plans which I'll give a breif hightlight here. Email me if you need the addy to send your supplies. THANK YOU again!!

One of the events we are doing is a Basketball Tournement. It will be held at one of the local schools in Lagrange, GA. I don't have the ticket prices on me, but I'll shoot those out to you Monday evening. The tournament will be held on Saturday, April 25th, 10am-5pm.

Another event that is in the works is a Softball tournement. LOL I know we love our sports!!!! That will be held on May 6th, in Lagrange as well.

June 26th, we wll be holding a Talent Show. Details are still being put together for that. If you would like to be a vendor or make donations let me know. We also have a Womenless Pagent being put together. I don't have all the info on that just yet. But it does sound like fun. Will keep you posted. In addition to that we will be planning a yard sale, more basket drawining, and gift card drawings.

Some of you may not know much at CMN. This is a cause Wal-Mart/Sam's and our book club (SBS Book Club) heavily supports. CMN is a program to help the children. Atlanta has 3 hospitals with Wal-Mart/Sam's Triage centers. Columbus, GA has 2. These centers help support the children and the families. They help supply products for the families such as the tiny needles and pampers needed for those babies that are born premature. It does so much that I don't have nearly enough space on here to tell you all. BUT what I will do is share the store of a girl I met at a CMN lunecon we had.  Her picture will be posted in my picture albums. She is 13 now. When she was born, she was born with a very serious heart condition. They didn't expect her to live past a few days, months at max. She had her first open heart surgery before she was 1 month old. By the time she turned 2 or 3 she had 3 surgies. At the age of 5 she had a full blown heart heart replacement. Becasue of the CMN she was able to have this surgey. She is her father's "Miricale Baby". This was just one of many. One child I actually got to meet at a luncheon. This is why we do what we do.
