Current mood: chill
Hi folks, While most people travel into the Alps to throw themselves off a mountain, Lawn has just returned from their journey in that area. But just like the saying: ‘Been everywhere, seen nothing’, there was no time for any recreation in the snow. We had a tight schedule playing Vienna, Linz and Salzburg, together with our German friends of Slut. A few years back we met them for a first time, playing together somewhere in the south of the Netherlands. That’s why it was surprising to see that these men easily draw 500 to 600 people in Austria. Very nice guys, good music. If not familiar with them, check: www.slutmusic.de. Our tour in ‘shorthand’: lots of autobahn-asphalt, full and classy venues, more asphalt, a blitzkrieg-visit to gaudy Vienna, plenty of alcohol, insufficient sleep, asphalt and –very important- lots of new fans! Pretty much a tour is meant for…Something we’d like to do again! Thanks to all of you that came in time to see us!And it seems we will be hitting the German road soon enough: We have some very good news: We signed a recorddeal with ‘Make my day records’ a label residing in Dusseldorf. About a year after its release in the Benelux, our album ‘Silver’ will put out in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. We are working on a tour in May / June, and September/October. More news on that A.S.A.P.! Doesn’t Lawn do ANYthing shows on our homesoil? Yes we do: On march the 25th we play together with The Oceana Company in ‘Het Vliegende Paard’ (Zwolle). More shows will follow (The Hague, Oss, Den Bosch..). Check our website..!//LAWN
