Hey Guys,
Well it has been way to long since I posted here, so I thought it was high time I did. August is usually a slow time for me so I have been working on music projects and buying and adding some new gear to my studio. I added some new Adam A7 monitors with a sub and a couple new mics to the studio. They sound great and have really upped the quality of my mixes. I have also been working on a lot of new music.
Most recently I added a new song to my web site and my projects myspace page called Red Tortoise, it is an instrumental I wrote regarding a dream I had about a Tortoise chasing me and I could not get away. I woke up laughing at myself, it was almost comical. The song reminded me of it hence the name Red Tortoise, red because it was angry. The song came out cool and I think sounds very analog, even though it was all digital. Listen and see what you think, I would love to hear your opinions.
I also recently added a Remix I did for the Crystal Method remix contest. The song is Double Down Under, go to the site and vote for me if you like it and have the time. It would be cool to win, but even if I don't the song still came out good and is worth a listen.

We are also almost finished with the writing stage with a new Project I am doing with Montana Curtis, that is here in the picture. We are playing are first gig on The 6th of September. Soon after that we will release a demo CD which will be posted on myspace I will keep you all posted. We will also be playing out in Austin pretty regularly and again we will post it here to let you all know when and where. Monday at 7:00PM at the Gibson showroom Russel Beach and myself will be hosting a Recovery jam brought to you by MusiCares. Chwck ou this link to the Evite page for more info and direction.
