Current mood: numb Category: Life
Dear friends and family, I request prayers for one of Josh's co-workers, Marie Baxter. She has just lost her husband, Juan, in a car accident last night. I am in a state of shock, I just saw her and Juan a week and half ago at a company picnic in Rocklin. It is an eerie reminder that one day someone can be here, and the next...not. Just a few days ago, he was laughing and visiting at the bowling alley with the rest of us who were all connected through Rio Bravo Rocklin. This has had a huge impact on all of us, not just those who work at Josh's plant, but also the ones who had the pleasure of meeting and speaking with Juan and Marie. I know they haven't been married long, I believe Marie is only 22 years old. Her and Juan had just purchased their first home this past month. She has been working at the plant since December of last year. Please keep the family in your prayers, and especially Marie. I can't imagine what it would be like to hold Josh one day, and bury him the next. It is a painful way to be reminded that life is so short, and we are never promised tomorrow. May God bless you all!
