....     My name is Eli Clark.  I have played bass for The Goodnight Anthem(Philly), Search The City(Detroit), Carawae(Mi), and have currently done work with Colour Academy (Alabama).  I have 4 years tour experience, stage presence is not a problem, nor is my income, my attitude, patience, distance, no drug/alcohol or tobacco use, I happen to be a VERY nice guy(I have my connections and friends in the bands listed), I do sing both leads and harmonies, I also can play with a pick or fingers. However, I'm not interested in playing bass for your band, even though I meet 10/11 requirements.......
....     Why I'm contacting you today is because I am a bass player looking for a permanent band, I find it VERY offensive that you are specifically looking for a bass player/drummer who is SPECIFICALLY of the Christian faith.  I have signed with Tooth and Nail records with Search The City, and have worked side by side with Colour Academy, BOTH happen to be Christian bands.  ....
....     I am Jewish.  That has NEVER been a problem with anyone else.  Bands such as Yearling, may have  your 15 minutes of fame by popping up, but nevertheless, will have a VERY limited shelf-life, IF you're lucky. However, I do highly doubt that you as a collective band will ever see the light of day with the music industry.  Your music sounds very cookie cutter to that of bands such as Boys Like Girls, All Time Low, and practically every Pop-Rock band dressed in black and white wearing American Apparel V-necks, the list goes on. ....
....     To add the icing to your marvelous little cake, you're closed minded.  I've learned a thing or two about what Christianity is about, not by believing in the faith itself, but by accompanying those near and dear to me who do.  Let a Jew correct you on how to be good to one another(it wouldn't be the first time).....
....     Learn to be a little more open minded, let those who want to be in a band be the ones to try out, give it their 'go', and see how the chemistry works.  If they've got what it takes, the chemistry, the musical ability, the drive, the image, and the patience, that's what really does matter.  ....
....     Bands that play together stay together.  I strongly advise you NOT to mistakenly substitute the word 'play' with 'pray'.   When you boil it down, it's about the music. ....

Hahaha don't listen to Eli guys. They are not being close minded when asking for a man who follows Jesus Christ. Not every person who claims to be Christian is close-minded. You're being close-minded when you pigeon hole them and judge them according to a mere myspace blog. It just so  happens to mention they want a Christian bandmate. If you don't want to join their band, then don't waste your precious blog characters, or their time.  The blog was not offensive in any way, you just chose to be offended.
