Although playing music for yourself and others can be an immediately gratifying expereince, sometimes the kudos can be slow in coming...

So Lovely Crash was wonderfully pleased to be invited to the world premiere of  the movie "Joy" in Cincinnati tomorrow.

Why so pleased to be invited? Beyond the fact that premieres are just cool anyway, well, we actually had a song chosen to be in the film and I believe on the soundtrack! It's entitled "Look up hear" and is from our 2007 release Buddha Car, and that's pretty awesome!! And we are in some mighty fine company..I'm not 100% sure but I believe that Wussy and the Hiders have songs in the film and on the soundtrack, along with some other locals and pretty fabulous national artists too...

I've seen the trailer and the film looks to be GREAT! It was written and directed by LA's Julie Marie Hasset, who as a Cincinnati native wanted to give back to the town by filming her very personal story and using Cincinnati local music to bring the film to life.
