Just an update of what's happening...
My debut stand up DVD comes out on Nov 16th; it's called 'Rhod Gilbert and the Award-wining Mince Pie'.  You can pre-order it cheaper right now on Amazon or Play.com, or buy it in a shop then.  Alternatively, you can not buy it at all.

I'm currently on tour with the new show 'RG and the cat that looked like Nicholas Lyndhurst'; not many tickets left for 2009, but the Spring 2010 leg of the tour is now on sale, with loads of dates all over the UK and ending with more dates at the Hammersmith Apollo in London.  Full tour dates and ticket info is on my main page.

Oh yeah, and tv wise I'm hosting 'Never mind the buzzocks' on BBC2 this Thursday.

Meanwhile on radio, my regular show is on BBC Radio Wales, Sat mornings 11-1pm, with the podcast available at bbc.co.uk/radiowales

Cheers if you read this far
Rhod

Hi Rhod, we came to see you in Sunny Rhyl last weekend. As we could not wait till next year when you come back to Wrexham. It was a top night and I think we have converted a few new followers for you. I think some of the people are still locked in the carpark and I nearly broke a bone somewhere a few years back Cheers Keith

Dear Rhod, we loved the show in Reading last night. Personally I prefer the longer hair style, so pls will you grow it again? I also like the lighted name sign but didn't like the flashing coloured swirling lights before you came on to stand in front of that massive organ. Glad you found many repeat attendees in Reading; we are booking for High Wycombe in 2010 to see the show again. The person who said last night was repetitive was sadly mistaken IMHO - we didn't feel that at all and we have seen Mince Pie at Aldershot and also attended the DVD recording. I support you in not doing 'the lost suitcase'. Love the radio highlights - always listen on Monday morning at work to get over the start of week blues. So please keep going, drive safe, stay sane and don't worry too much about your frontal lobe - it's fine from where we are sitting!  Love - Vee x

I'm quite partial to the shorter cut.  Kinda wish I hadn't moved from Bristol then it would be easier to come and see you, now I live in Cumbria (by Scotland), but I will check the dates.

You should be a regular host for Buzzcocks, I imagine it can be a tough show, but you were really great and seemed to take everything in your stride.
