Thunder Beach Bike Rally has now come and gone and now it's back to the old routine.  We had a blast in Panama City Beach!  We were there for a whole week and it was awesome!  The weather was perfect.  It didn't rain at all while we were there.  We wasn't able to post a daily blog like we had originally said we would due to the fact that we couldn't access the internet.  So we have posted this blog to fill everyone in on the week in PCB.

We weren't scheduled to play until the end of the week so we were beach bums for the first part of the week.  We arrived on Sunday, unpacked and went out to dinner at Captain Jack's Seafood Buffet.  We all wanted some crab legs and boy did we eat a bunch of them!!!  They were so good!  Monday was our first day at the beach.  We lounged at the beach and the pool all day.  We had a ball.  The guys tried their luck at skim boarding!  That was funny!  They girls stuck with our floats and boogie boards!  We had supper at the room and went down to the Tiki Bar to hear the Atlanta Rhythm Section.  They put on a fantastic show!  They were great!  Tuesday was about the same as Monday.  We spent most of the day at the beach, had supper in the room and went back to the Tiki Bar to hear Black Oak Arkansas.  On Wednesday, we played at the beach again.  Kyle's parents and some of our friends came in on Wednesday, so we all went out to dinner for Kyle's birthday!  We ate at Pineapple Willy's and it was a lot of fun.  After dinner we headed back to the Tiki Bar to hear Eli.  That were really good!  That was pretty much the end of our relaxation!  Thursday rolled around and it was time to work!  It was time for our first show in PCB!  The guys got up early to go set up the equipment.  There was a little mix up with the schedule and we got started late and for that we apologize but we had a great show!  After the show we went to one of our favorite restaurants in PCB...Angelo's!  It was awesome...as always!  They have great food!  We were really tired and most of us crashed when we got back to the room.  Friday we all went to breakfast and then came back to the room to rest a few hours before getting ready to play.  We started at 1:30 and had another great show!  There was a great crowd, great crowd response and we had a ball!!!  After the show, the gang decided to go out for oysters, (well some of us didn't eat them).  We went to Shuckums Oyster Bar and then some of the band went back to the Tiki Bar, some went to the room and some went to play Putt-Putt.  Saturday, was pretty much the same routine as Friday.  This was our last show and probably one of the best shows.  There was a great crowd!  We had a lot of dancers and everyone had a great time!  We even had a TV crew there from Europe.  Each night after we played they had a wet t-shirt contest and Sat. night the guys of the band got to help out with the contest, you know they enjoyed that!!!  LOL  After the show and contest we all went to dinner at Sharky's.  The food was great and we seen another band that we had met back home before called Grip.  They were playing at Sharky's and we got to hear a little bit of their show.  We didn't stay for the whole show because we wanted to get back to the Tiki Bar to hear a little bit of Ketch 22's show.  We had been wanting to hear them all week.  They had been playing after us each night and by the time we would go eat dinner, they would be finished playing.  We made it back in time to hear their last few songs.  Ketch 22 is a great band and there are some of the nicest guys you'll ever meet.

As you can tell, we had a great time at the Thunder Beach Bike Rally in PCB.  We had 3 GREAT shows!  There was a great crowd everyday and things couldn't have been any better!  We want to thank Garry Hundley at the Sandpiper Beacon Beach Resort for giving us the opportunity to play at the Sandpiper Beacon Tiki Bar.  We had a great time!  You have a great staff!  Thanks for everything!  We also want to thank all of our fans that came from Georgia and other areas to hear and support us!  We couldn't do what we do without each of you!  Thank you!  We know some of our friends and fans couldn't make it and we understand.  We know you guys were thinking about us and we thank you for that!   To the new friends and fans we met in PCB, thanks for coming to our shows and supporting us.  We hope to see you all again soon!  Also thanks to Ketch 22 for being so easy to work with and just being so nice to us!  We hope we haven't left anyone out!  We apprecitate everyone that supports our band and what we do!   We love you all!!!!
