I'm healing well from the first of the spine surgeries. The worst part is having to wear this abominable neck brace. The best part is not doing any of the cooking, cleaning, laundry, etc. And, of course, all the good (and legal) drugs. I tend to manage them, rather than allowing them to manage me, though.

Thank you to everyone who has sent good thoughts, prayers, and well wishes my way. I appreciate each and every one.

My website is down again while I fight with the non-customer support at Tripod/Lycos. All I was trying to do was move my site to GoDaddy. Tripod wants $12.95 each year for the "rent" of the free domain name that came with signing up with them. This rent is due and payable every year for the rest of my life.

They've also completely hosed up the DNS unlock code. So, I'm sitting here, day 6 of having no website up at all and still warning everyone I know to NOT use Tripod as your web host. They positively suck.

Unfortunately, since my website is down, so is my website email. So if you have sent anything to me at linda@, I haven't gotten it. For the time being, please use hutchlj at yahoo dot com.

But don't spam me. I hate spammers - and tend to get even first, and then mad.
