First of all, my video for one of my bff's Kim Lenz is done and I can show you now:)

I've been friends with Kim since '98 and we've both been through a lot of changes
in our lives but I really value her as friend and respect her as an artist.
The video didn't ruin our friendship as Kim had once worried but it only
made it stronger:)

Life has been pretty great... No gf(or even potential) but I have faith that
will take care of itself if I stay on my path... Videos coming up for Gram
Rabbit & Miss Derringer. Not only two of my favorite bands but two of my
favorite couples as well... Hoping to finish FINALLY the second draft of my
feature and begin the process of making it in the next couple weeks.

Have a great new assistant that is allowing me to be myself, meaning she's
taking care of all the crap i don't want to and encouraging Devil's Night to
really take off in different directions.

Devil's Night Radio is going fantastic. Kim has a show that I love on Sundays and
it inspired me to do more shows. Pnut and I have one Sunday 7-8p and you can
request songs and even help pick out the name. I am also broadcasting myself and
DJ Diablo live from Bar 107 on Saturday nights now. I've been wanting to work with
him and do a remote Live Broadcast for a long time so it's a dream come true in both
areas...

Hicksville is coming along slowly but surely and is on target for a Devil's Night(Oct 30)
opening... Speaking of my Joshua Tree plans, I'm actually celebrating my B-Day this
year at Pappy & Harriets on Aug 15. Liz McGrath from Miss D. has the same B-Day and
they are playing that night there... I NEVER celebrate this day or even divulge when it
is so this is a change for me...

Actually, there's been a lot of changes. I'm becoming a man at 38. I've been
learning about the type of person I want to be and drawing people into my life from my
family. Not the stupid "blood" family I was born into(although there are some great ones
of those), but my real family. With that, I will leave you with the part of the book where
our hero leaves one plane and enters a new one. This book saved my life as a 10 year old
and it's truly amazing how I have subconsciously used it as a blueprint for my own...
"We're from your Flock, Jonathan. We are your brothers." The words
were strong and calm. "We've come to take you higher, to take you home."
"Home I have none. Flock I have none. I am Outcast. And we fly now at
the peak of the Great Mountain Wind. Beyond a few hundred feet, I can lift
this old body no higher."
"But you can Jonathan. For you have learned. One school is finished,
and the time has come for another to begin."
As it had shined across him all his life, so understanding lighted
that moment for Jonathan Seagull. They were right. He could fly higher,
and it was time to go home."
