Who Gives Kudos:

Friday, February 08, 2008
It's been a little windy around here, as no doubt everyone has seen on the news.  We sat in front of a big plate glass window and watched the doppler radar on tv.  Okay, it was a basement window.  And we were wearing football helmets.  It didn't get too exciting here in Nashville.  They said there was a tornado here, but it didn't make the morning news, so I guess it just plowed up a field south of town.  Those are disappearing fast.  Next time a storm in the same spot will take out a brand new Walmart, Target, or Ross Dress for Less.  Thanks to everyone for checking up on us, but if we hadn't been watching tv that night and the news the next day, we never would have known it was such a big deal.  A tornado did come through the middle of Nashville in 97, so I guess we're not due for another one for about a hundred years.  All kidding aside, yes, we are sending supplies to the needy, and suggest you do the same...it looks like a real mess northeast and southwest of here.
DISGUISE the KNIFE

Are there any organizations heading up that project, or is this just a call to action in general.

Just let us know.

So there were no flying monkeys or wicked witches then?

Hmmm... and I was in the "Windy City" at the time enjoying the 6 inches of snow. I had no idea the "storms" people were casually mentioning were so serious in your neck of the woods.
I didn't watch the telly at all.

I'm glad you all got through it unscathed. You and Target.

Glad to here you all survived and didn't lose your homes etc. I was thinking of U(SSA) when it was on the news up here.... They are collecting up here too for all those down there who were not so fortunate.
