At Grant Gopher, we've taken great pride in providing up-to-date information about available grants (free!) and we're excited to announce our new program Grant Gopher's Monthly Grant Awards!

Grants are awarded each month in three categories. The dollar amount is determined each month based on number of website visitors (a ticker will announce the updated amount each day), but will always be enough money to help!

Just create an account at Grant Gopher (www.grantgopher.com), and click the "Request A Grant" link on your new user profile to fill out the form. You can also use your profile to make friends on the Grant Gopher network!

The first round of grants will be awarded on December 15th, just in time for the holidays, so hurry and get your request posted! Grants are based on votes received so make sure to tell people to go to www.grantgopher.com and vote for you!

Individual/Family Grants
Grant requests for individual/family needs. This includes items such as medical expenses, child care, utilities or other needs.

Business Grants
Requests for start-up and existing businesses. This request can include items such as initial office space rent, printing, licensing fees, working capital or other business expenses.

Nonprofit Grants
Grant requests for an established nonprofit or a group in need of funds to start a nonprofit. Please be sure to explain what stage your nonprofit is in and what the funds will be used for: seed money, program expense, operating expense, building fund, etc. We hope you are as excited about this announcement as we are!! Grants may be considered taxable income to the recipient. A 1099-MISC will be mailed to recipients of individual and business grant awards.
