First, Jeff and I will be recording all the rhythm guitar tracks for the next Sympathy album this May. There will be 12 songs and roughly 50 minutes of music. The writing happened very quickly this time which makes for a cohesive sounding bunch of songs. I am quite excited about it because I think this is going to be yet another step in the right direction for Sympathy.

Right now, we are calling the new album "Beast". It's a completely appropriate name for many reasons. Here's a list of some of the songtitles that we have so far:

  Kill the Prophet
  Infidel
  Inspired by Evil
  We Are the Dead
  The Rise of the Strong
  Wargod

As you can see, it's going to be a dark album yet again. We have no plans to track the drums any time soon, but it will be released on Bombworks Records. Speaking of BWR, I have been talking with them about making a special limited edition of Beast that would have a lot of extra content. We'll see if that works.

Second, the shirts made by Nokternal Hemizphear (www.nhmetal.com) sold so well that a second and third shirt design are planned. The second SS shirt should be made available sometime soon. I will make sure to make a post once they are.

If you haven't seen the shirts that NH produced to support Anagogic Tyranny, you should take a look at them. They look amazing. Very high quality stuff.

Third, a few months ago, Sympathy had a track on the last ever issue of Metal Maniacs. I was sad to see them go. I remember picking up MM as a kid and looking at the pics of Morbid Angel, Obituary, and Morgoth. Well, if you didn't notice, Sympathy is also on a recent Terrorizer magazine CD. Check it out!
