Artist Proof will be releasing a new version of the Joseph Merrick bust featured in my gallery as well as a large scale full figure version of him in the near future.This will be an entirely new sculpt, possibly 18 inches or larger, and basically be a nude study.

This is going a little while back, but Nadya Lev wrote a wonderful post about the original sculpture was on the COILHOUSE bloghttp://coilhouse.net/2009/01/03/paul-komodas-bust-of-john-merrick/

 In the meantime, plans are afoot for the eventual publication of my sketchbook, and I have to commence work on a certain spiny amphibious monster .
