I ASK THIS QUESTION TO ALL THE HIPHOP FANS OF THE WORLD:

WHEN DID YOU FALL IN LOVE WITH HIP HOP?

I WAS 6 WHEN I HAD MY FIRST ENCOUNTER WITH HIPHOP, MI TIO USE TO BREAK AT THERE HIGH SCHOOLS AND I WOULD LOVE TO BE THERE TO WATCH HIM.  I WOULD ALMOST BREAK MY NECK TO WATCH THEM AT THEIR PRACTICE!!  THE MUSIC SPOKE TO ME AND THE WORDS DESCRIBED HOW I FELT.

AS I GOT OLDER IT MADE MORE SENSE TO ME, FELT MORE REAL, IT WAS LIKE AIR! I COULDN'T LIVE WITHOUT IT!   ERIC B AND RAKIM, BEASTIE BOYS, JUSTOLEUM, ZION I, LOS  AND ALL OTHER COME UPS FORM THE UNDERGROUND, KEEP YOUR HEAD UP AND KEEP THE REAL HIPHOP ALIVE.

B-BOYS KEEP THEM HEADSPINS BREEZY AND YOUR POWER MOVES PRECISE.

THE REAL DJ'S OUT THERE KEEP THE CYPHERS HYPE AND THE BATTLES ELECTRICFYING.

AND THE GRAF HEADS KEEP ON BOMBING CUZ YOUR NEVER TO OLD TO EXPRESS FREEDOM AND CREATIVITY!!

FOR HIP HOP IS THE NAME OF OUR CREATIVE INTELLIGENCE!!

Ahh the wonderful question "when did you fall in love with hip hop?"

I am a House Head but i will always remeber when i was 9 or 10 and my cousin dated a "windy city breaker" in 1987 or 88 something like that (showing my age). they guy she dated had a show at a festival so she took me. They ended up taking three kids on stage to teach them, i was one of the kids!!! I remeber the song it was the instamental of "The Bridge Is Over"  begged my cousin to get me the record she bought me the tape!!! then two years later i met a few older kids skateboarding and the were old school graff writers and they took me under thier wings. and then from 90 or 91 it was Graffiti, hip hop, house, and trying to B-boy (i stress the TRYING to b-boy).

When i am tad bit buzzed at an empty club and the throw on some old school hip hop or even early 90's hip hop like Tribe or Pharcyde i will bust out with some up-rocks and do a half azzed helicopter!!! but the next day i feel it :) damn i am old!

Blas™..........i got u feeling good.........

I was a late body to hip hop. I feel in love with it, in 98. I got jayz vol 2. That was my first real hip hop album. I played it everyday 12 times a day for a year. The Love of the art is missing. Everyone now does music for a check. And it shows through their music.
