Hi kids.

It's summertime and we've gotten several requests to play shows of late (thank you for your inquiries). After receiving a few of these, it dawned on me that an official status report of The Conductor was probably in order. So here it is:

The Conductor, for all intents and purposes, is no longer a functioning band. After 4+ years, it was just time. I've known Marci, Jez and Dirk for a very long time, and the door is never permanently closed, but for now, we've all moved on to other priorities in our respective lives. I'm hoping that we'll eventually do one last blow-out show--I'll keep you posted. In the meantime, Marci is busy with Team Dresch, so please check them out if you get the opportunity. (And if there's anybody out there looking for a guitarist, shoot me a message...)

Thanks to those of you we played a show with or who came out to see us or who just took a minute to listen to a song we posted. It's been a real kick in the head.
