what is alla prima ink?

months ago a very good friend of mine and i were sitting around drinking wine after a great meal and even better day of tattooing. the discussion was on how to make our work better and challenge ourselves. a great idea spawned from that talk and turned into alot of hard work. that hard work is what is to become a line of specialty inks for the advanced artist! ALLA PRIMA INKS!
the very good friend of mine is John Montgomery. he and I have developed ink sets to advance color theory and blending. we used the concepts of painting and of tattooing in tandem for what we think will help everyone that uses then to become a better artist and tattooer.
we will be releasing out first sets within weeks. as soon as our testing is done. we will get out all the info about website address and how to get these inks asap. stay tuned. our color sets will be three colors. a dark, mid and highlight. we have two ready to go. a set to do blood and a zombie green set! these colors are of the highest quality pigments and highest pigment count, yet thin and easy to work with. the high pigment count allows for high saturation and ability to wash out with confidence.
we are also bringing out an amazing black! super black and washes down to the softest grey.
white! yes we have a white! a white the is ultra opaque and thin. i always hate a white that greys out and clogs up my liner. hard to do that detail, but i think we got realy close to fixing all that.
