Is it real?  It's still so hard to believe that MJ is gone!  His music has truly been the soundtrack to soooo many of our lives!  I still remember the day that Thriller premiered on MTV.  My brother and I were downstairs in the basement (the only place we had cable), vhs tape in the machine, with my finger ready to hit "record."  I think once the dancing part started our eyes were as big as saucers, brain in overload and mouths on the floor in amazement!!  We had just witnessed the best mini-movie in the entire world and it featured a black man and woman!!  After the video was over we immediately starting learning the dance moves in the tinted mirror squares we had in the basement.  LOL those were the days! 

CAFE SOUL wants to pay homage to Michael Jackson on July 30th @ the Loft!  We enlisted a group of performers who love him, who want to thank him in their own way through his music!  If you have a song you want to sing, please come by and celebrate with us!
