Don't get me wrong, myspace is great for some things, but the player really does sound awful, compressed and dull. There's a great site called BANDiZMO - http://www.bandizmo.com - where the player is awesome. The player re-encodes at the same bit rate that you upload, so your music stays as shiney and new as you'd want and expect it to be. You can also upload as many songs as you want and people can subscribe to an rss feed about you. It's a really well thought out site, well worth checking out. A couple of us did direct comparisons between the BANDiZMO and myspace players, and BANDiZMO won hands-down. Check it out.
