Dude as much as I'm a fan of the VW camper (ckeck out bugjam VW festival july @santa pod raceway) the best part of the festival going experiences is surviving in the elements, surrounded by the smells.

I haven't gone as far as New Jersey whear we once lived(me & my parents until 94 when my dad retired from owen corning fiberglass in and in 2004 started making an annual road trip to jersey visiting my sister we did go to cape may to go swimming when we were kids and on one other trip we rented a cabin(The whole family) that was a great trip, except when we just went to the beach cause of the horseflies but the cabin trip was great cause I got a pet turtle that we found on the side of the road.
