AAPW has just been informed that Steven Davis is scheduled to have neck surgery in early November. Davis has had a nagging injury that has gotten progressively worse. Davis will be out of action for approximately 6 to 18 months. AAPW wishes Davis a speedy recovery.

Davis' replacement in the upcoming #1 contender tournament in West Frankfort, IL. will be announced soon.

AAPW has determined that Chocolate Thunder will be awarded the tournament spot now left vacant by Steven Davis. Chocolate Thunder had an impressive showing against "Playboy" Paul Rose in Nashville, IL. on 10/3/09, who is also in the tournament. These two may possibly meet again.
