There are a lot organizations where you can dedicate a tree as a Christmas gift for your family, friends or yourself.

Please don´t cut trees of our Forests. The destruction of our forests is continuing at an alarming rate and according to World Bank predictions at current rates of loss.

Buying a New Year tree can contribute to Deforestation. The cutting of New Year Trees is a senseless component of the overall disappearance of our forests, and will result in environmental and economic catastrophe. A typical New Year tree takes 7 years to grow, and is only displayed for 2 weeks. Over 30 – 40 % of the trees that are cut aren't even sold.

ALTERNATIVES:

1. Using artificial trees made with no contaminant substances  (no plastic, no PVC) (its Cleaner, Safer,  Reusable, with Variety of styles and Similar to natural trees)

2. Potted trees (that can be reused or planted in Spring), the branches of evergreens, or rented trees of farms, are the best alternatives to chopping down our forests during the festive season, but also consider:

-  Decorating home plants (aloe, lemon tree, heranium, etc.) with Christmas toys

-  Making a Christmas/ New Year Tree from newspaper or recycled materials
