i made a spontaneous decision to go to santa cruz on wednesday. i took off around noon. it was an amazing drive. sooo beautiful. i met my friend kimberly on the beach.  we walked to her house to retrieve a kite.

after about a half hour we finally got the kite together. it turns out that instructions really do work. funny. i ran like a fool across the beach trying to get this kite in the air and ended up loosing a pair of sunglasses in the process. we eventually dropped the kite flying thing and decided to walk back across the beach and look for my glasses. we found nothing. i was bummed out because they were unique glasses, but rationalized with the fact that they cost 9 dollars. i said, "screw it, they're just glasses." it also made me happy that some stranger would be totally stoked to find them. i would be, but i guess that doesnt say much since i picked them out.

ANYWAY!.. to get to the point. Before I left on thursday, we were hanging out downtown and wondered into a vintage store. And you wouldnt believe it!!!... they had the EXACT same pair of glasses for 6 bucks!

Some other really cool stuff happened too, but im tired... so ask me about it if you want. nite folks.
