Ok, I recently quit smoking, using the nicotine patch. In their instructions, they say that wearing the patch while you sleep may increase your chances of nightmares or weird dreams. While that has turned out to be true on occasion, I have found that it amplifies your dreams and makes them a bit weirder than usual. In fact its been kind of fun. In fact I now put my fresh patch on in the evening (thats usually when I am craving a cig anyway). ANYWAY, I recently had a dream that was a little odd, and when I woke up, there was a corresponding email from a family member with a photo. What follows is my email response to him (and his original message): I had a dream this morning. For some reason I went into this Indoor Garden that I knew was full of snakes, however I figured that I would be slow enough and not get bit or noticed. Anyway, I went in there, and stayed by the door, looking for any snakes to see. Did not see any around any obvious spots, so I went to leave, and wham, a snake to my right had come out of nowhere and attached itself to my arm just above the elbow. I kind of stared at it in disbelief, and I could feel the venom spreading through my arm veins. Wondering if I had left it on too long, I grabbed it just behind the head and pried it off, held it up in front of me too see what kind of snake it was. It was a diamondback rattler. I tossed it back into the room. The bite was not really hurting at all, but I spent the rest of the dream sucking on the wound and spitting out what I got. The dream went on and I kept wondering if I should get medical attention, but by the end of the dream, almost a day had passed and I still had not developed any more symptoms. Anyway, I wake up this morning and there is your email "Rattlesnake found a few miles north of Amarillo". Well, they got rattlesnakes here in Hollywood too!
