As usual we've been busily blogging at Blogspot.com - during July we've posted 11 items... a little less than usual, but during the month we reined back on playing out in order to make sure all preparations were sorted, checked and double checked for a very special August event.

It's also been a month for completing projects that we've been doing with/for other people:

Jim Wigfield's second CD - "My Northumberland"
Matthew Bell's CD - "Gradest Hits"
Dan Bangs' CD - "Cullercoats Bay"

We're also quite close to finalising Allan Taylor's second songbook - "We Must Journey On: Songs of Allan Taylor, Volume 2". He spent a day with us recently to go through the latest draft, and now there's just a little tweaking to do and a few more photos and a couple of chord shapes to add. Like Volume 1 it will be a cracking good read and a mine of information with lyrics, chord shapes, background notes, anecdotes, discography, detailed song index, guitars and PA details... in fact, everything you could wish for.
