Sorrow looks back, worry looks around, but faith looks up. The road to success is not straight. There is a curve called Failure, a loop called Confusion, speed bumps called Friends, red lights called Enemies, caution lights called Family. You will have flats called Jobs. But, if you have a spare called Determination, an engine called Perseverance, insurance called Faith, a driver called Jesus, you will make it to a place called Success.

this is so true. i think the two most powerful words in this statement are Faith and Jesus. it's so hard to allow someone else to lead you. we are so comfortable in our own flesh that we tend to trust ourselves first, and Jesus second..not realize that we know NOTHING...things NEVER turn out wrong when we allow him to lead us. take a backseat saints!! walking by faith and not by sight is so important. simply trusting that even when u think he's wrong is so important because as Christians..we should simply strive for his will to be done. the will of God will never leave you where the grace of God cannot keep you. i have to continue to remind myself of this in my own struggles! let's be good christians and be his followers.. that's our calling. god gives us hardships to strenghten us...the devil plays on that by making us feel defeated..telling us to take it into our own hands..saying "dont pray..you know what to do"...his voice can be so sweet sometimes..but let's remember...he's the DEVIL..God has called on us to call on him..to say "lord i need your guidance"..."i'm giving my worries to you...give me discernment to follow your will"..after that we can be at peace and have spiritual success in our lives.
