This is by far one of my absolutely favorite songs I have ever been apart of, but I cannot take 100% credit for it!
It was actually written on January 15, 2006 with Jordan Lehr, and I kept it in my mind for a long time, and finally got around to recording it in September 2007.
Anyways, I can remember sitting in the floor of Jordan's room, with us trading guitar parts, until he started a little thing that sparked me to play the rhythm guitar part. (It wasn't until a few hours later we decided to add the harmonica.)
Then, almost instantly he starts playing the vocal melody line. It was great. We soon wrote down some lyrics, and yes, they were very simple and not very deep, but to me, that was part of the fun. I just wanted to write a fun pop song.
As for the bridge part, I came up with the lyric "Tell me is this love, and if it isn't, well baby let's make it" in my head on the drive to his house, so we stuck it in.
All in all, it turned out to be a very Hard Day's Night era Beatlesque kind of tune, and I loved it! (As a sort of joke, at the end of each bridge we would sometimes add some Beatle "OOOHHHS"

)
As far as the recording goes, it's all me!
