This song is a first for me: it's the closest I've ever come to writing a jazz type song.

I was doing my laundry one night at about 1 in the morning and was sitting in my dining room in the dark, and all of a sudden these chords start popping in my head. I ran and got my guitar and quickly wrote them down. At the same time, this bass melody was playing in my head. I ran upstairs and recorded the progression and overdubbed the bass part on top of it so I wouldn't forget it the next morning when I woke up.
Anyways, the next day, I figured out a bridge part, made a real recording with drums, and added the lead guitar part over it.
It has a very chill feel to it... very laid back, I think!
