With just a week and a half to go before I head out into the great white yonder, I am writing the first installment in the adventures of a Ski Rep! For those of you with a sensitive nature, I ask your forgiveness for what my weekly bulletins may include.

My adventure begins in earnest on Sunday when I make the arduous trek to Manchester where I will pick up all the gear we need for work as well as reunite with the other reps.

With a proposed meeting with two of the stalwarts of the last few snowboarding trips, Mark and Scott, this weekend may get a little bit hairy!! (you listening Scott you big Girl!) ;-)

From here on out you will be treated to the adventures and indeed misadventures of myself and my colleagues in pursuit of snowboarding Nirvana!

I've been so busy lately that I've probably forgotten to do half the things I had planned before leaving. This is also the first time I'll be away at Xmas time and will be missing my niece's first Christmas with the family. Not very happy about that at all!

I'm also a bit annoyed about not seeing my friends (you know who you are!!)for the customary beers at New Years but am secretly hoping that you might raise a glass for me when the time comes!
