Does anyone know the best way to save large photoshop or tiff files for the web? Is there an easy way to make the files smaller and not have the colors fade so drastically for my facebook or myspace? Another thought I had was to make the files small enough for facebook so that facebook doesn't automatically compress the file and the colors are preserved. Does the bit depth have anything to do with this? Any thoughts?
The steps I am going to try are
-convert from Adobe RGB to sRGB
-image size- 72 dpi without resampling
-use "save for web" dialog
I need to know the easiest and best way to do this to make my photos look more professional.
I was shocked when i sent gorgeous finished photos to a client and he posted them to facebook and they look like complete crap. (in my opinion) however he couldn't tell the difference. They became lighter and duller, the contrast was extremely low and I am a woman of contrast. hehe. Anywho- any advice would be awesome. :)
Thanks :)
