It's been a long time coming but finally, it has arrived!  I'm talking about an entire new layout and design for JennTheSimmerGirl.com.  I found myself with a site that had grown so much that it was hard to manage so in December '06 I decided to just start from scratch.

This new version is built entirely in PHP and all the data is in a MySQL database.  I've written 99.9% of the source code myself.  I did use a date validation function that I found on php.net.  Thanks to the user contributed notes for the great code!  Anyways, it feels nice to have launched my new site today.

For those interested, my site actually started off as a project for my Enterprise Web Development class when I was in college.  I've uploaded that project, in it's original state, to http://v1.jennthesimmergirl.com .  Go easy on me, I know it has some problems.  LOL.  It's not cross-broswer compatible and it won't validate even in the slightest but it had all of the required elements so I got 100%!
