Current mood:  cold

This is what it's all about. Looking foward to this so much. Anyone else that's going or is thinking about it; message me.

Here's a little something to get you in the mood. It's a sampler mix for Ed Rec Vol.2, which dropped a couple of weeks back. It's only about £8 and is worth every penny. Go buy.

Feadz - Ed Rec Vol.2 Medley  (9:52 13mb)
Ed Rec Vol.2 (Amazon.co.uk)

Track Order: (Mr Oizo - Intra precedes every track)

1. Justice - Phantom
2. Busy P - Rainbow Man
3. SebastiAn - Greel
4. Mr Oizo - Intra
5. Uffie - Dismissed
6. DJ Mehdi - Lucky Girl
7. Feadz - Edwrecker
8. Vicarious Bliss - Limousine
9. So Me - Golden Skans To Interzone
10. Krazy Baldhead - Strings Of Death
11. Mr Flash - Eagle Eyez

Whilst still on the subject of Ed Banger Records, DJ Mehdi's new 'Luck Girl' EP was released the other day. Worthwhile investment, with don as fuck remixes from Surkin, Outlines and Thomas (half of Daft Punk) Bangalter.

DJ Mehdi - Signatune (Thomas Bangalter Remix)
Lucky Girl EP (Phonica Records)

Soooo, my (rather pointless) plan was to see 250 bands/acts this year. I slowly realised how dumb this was so have decided to make it 365 instead. That's one a day for the non mathematicians out there. Here's a few more I've seen recently, brings my total to somewhere around the 100 mark i think.

Ali B
Atomic Hooligan
The Black Ghosts
Digitalism (Live)
DJ Funk
The Dolly Daggers
Feadz
Fortune Drive
Friendly Fires
Friends of the Bride
Herve
Hyper
Kap Bambino
Late of the Pier
Lemon D
Orgasmic
Planning to Rock
The Sigma
Simian Mobile Disco (DJ set)
Sinden
Switch
Tayo
Uffie
Xerox Teens
Yuksek
Zinc

Still haven't seen Ulterior.

Xerox Teens are awesome and give me the perfect opportunity to plug: They're playing Brunel Rooms, Swindon on May 25th with support from Bib, at the club me and my friend Jung DJ for, and we're warming up for them. Come along, tickets will be around the £5 mark.

Got a couple of remixes and edits that I'll be posting soon, along with a mix that I'm polishing off. Also, check out Jung's page for some of his mixes.

Check this video out as well. It's sexier than Jung.

The music is QueenOfWar - Oh Machine

She's on myspace (link) she is sexy and she makes dirty sex music.
Take a look at the other acts in my ''Top 8'' as well when you have the time.

I leave you with a few tracks to check out. These mp3s are for evaluation only, they are lowered quality. If you like them, buy them.

CSS - Lets Make Love & Listen DFA (Simian Mobile Disco Remix)

Doesn't need a description really does it. One to get you salivating before the SMD album drops on June 18th. GO SEE THEIR FIRST EVER LIVE SHOW AT THE OXFORD ZODIAC ON THE 10th OF MAY. Please. SMD also have a Bugged Out Presents...Suck My Deck mix out on the 16th of April. Another good mix out on the same day is Spank Rock's contribution to the Fabriclive series.

Klaxons - Gravitys Rainbow (Soulwax Remix)

Soulwax own up again. This is definetly bound to replace Standing In The Way Of Control as the easiest track to throw down if you wanna make those indie kids dance. Now that matey from Klaxons is seeing that Lovefoxxx bird from CSS, hopefully a collab is in the works, and even more hopefully, Soulwax will remix it.

The Whip - Muzzle No.1 (Bloody Beetroots Remix)

The Whip are generating a lot of fuss and are definetly worth keeping your eye on. With a release on Southern Fried records, a track on both the always fashionable Kitsuné Maison Compilation and High Voltage Records Vol.2 aaand an appearance alongside Soulwax and DAFT PUNK at this year's Rock Ness, this manc band are definetly doing alright for themselves.
Muzzle No.1 is their first single release. Altough backed by strong remixes and instrumentals by The Black Ghosts and Shadow Dancer, it's quite dissapointing that the Bloody Beetroots remix didnt make it onto the record. I like it. I like The Bloody Beetroots. Dirty filthy sexy electro.

That is all.

Support music. Buy Records.

Haha bare pluggage.
Yes, please buy me.

Don't know if I like the Queen of War stuff, lyrics are rude but I feel like the backing doesn't fit them. Remix potential
