Flying Kicks, Buddhist Monks, and the Legend of Iron Crotch: An Odyssey in the New China. By Matthew Polly So some 19 year old decides instead of going to college he is going to "find himself" practicing Kung-Fu in China. Granted, the premise makes it sound like 400 pages devoted to some snobby rich kid, a lazy one at that. However, as Matthew describes his motivations, China and the chinese people and the history and current custumes of this part of the world you really end up admiring his adventure.
