Greetings from Las Vegas - wish you were here! EpiCon starts tonight with a meet-and-greet mixer, but pre-Con opened last night with a booksigning for erotic EPIC authors at the Erotic Heritage Museum. What an amazing place! It's a serious museum, high class, over 1700 square feet of exhibit space devoted to the history of erotica, with a special emphasis on U.S. developments. If someone thought of it and produced it, it's probably represented in the museum's collection. Both halves of Adriana attended, and our table was underneath a chandalier made up of three women (manekins, of course) in the throes of extasy, stretched into backbends with their toes at the center holding up the main light, leaning out over us delectably. A central theme of many of the exhibits is the long list of persons who have sacrificed so much to bring us to the level of freedem we have today - including the privelege to write what we write and make it available for readers like you to purchase openly, no crime involved on either part. The museum features a large collection of items for sale, including books, and several of ours are now available there. And they asked each of us to donate a book for their permanent collection ~ an autographed copy of The Merry Widow has now taken it's place in the collection!!
