Last night I witnessed something that your average individual would've
thought unfathomable as recent as ten years ago. I saw Senator Barack
Obama named president elect. Don't get me wrong, from the second I woke
up November 4th, I felt a spirit of absolution fall over my
consciousness. And even as I stood in line to cast my democratic vote, I
felt as though my vote had been cast as far back as the day of my birth.
To better explain what I'm trying to relay, you must understand; I
Jaguar Wright, was born second generation after slavery. My Grandfather
David Wright was born into slavery in 1900 after President Lincoln freed
the slaves. My Father Norman L. Wright was born 4 years after the Great
Depression in the original dirty south; the Confederate plagued
Pitts,G.A. My Grandfather could never have imagined a Black President,
my father has only wished for a Black President; but I, second
generation Wright out of slavery, have actually witnessed it happen with
my own eyes. I watched the first African American President give his
acceptance speech in my life time. I witnessed something my own
forefathers will never see with their own eyes; a BLACK MAN of substance
with dignity become something they could never have fathomed- PRESIDENT!
A million books are about to be printed that will read "Barack Obama,
first African American President"! I will tell my grandchildren how I
vied for this to happen, and that after I cast my vote at 8:33 a.m. I
watched it come true on the very same day. This experience is absolutely
surreal! I've seen something even I thought would never be possible. A
Black Man in the White House. So, all that being said fathers make sure
you spend more time grooming your son's; preparing them for now a very
possible reality. Mothers, train your children up to believe that what
Martin Luther King once only thought to be a dream is now a reality.
Grown folks, stop at every drug spot and corner, to let the yungins'
know they are now qualified for a much better job- The Presidency! No
more excuses y'all! Let's get it crackin'! It's a new day, now let's
find a new way. The change is finally happening! I am Jaguar Wright and
this message has been approved by John McCain. LOLOLOL!!!!!!! Make the
change a reality that will last the ages. Thanx for gettin' y'all asses
up to vote. ONE NATION UNDER A GROOVE, GETTIN' DOWN JUST FOR THE LOVE OF
IT! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!

I am like you very awestruck. This is something that has only happened to me one other time. I am truly with you regarding telling our yungins to get their butts off the corner and get an education. We have to teach them that there is a Black man in the White house, not a nigger. He is well-spoken, poised, educated, passionate and focused. His dedication still has to be proven. His determintation will still be quesitoned for the next four years but believe this, through it all, we have begun the OVERCOME process. No more singing about what we gonna do. Now we have evidence of it taking place. My brothers and sisters, white, black and other, let's take this opportunity to run with this. Let the record show that with all of the black people that voted, 61% of his actual votes were cast by white america. Even they see that this man is greater than his color. The content of his character speaks volumes. And I have to believe that he is not the only black man in america that has these qualities.
Now that our culture has seen it we can sing out loud ~! We takin over, one city at a time! God bless Obama, God bless my brothers and sisters in the struggle and God bless America!

I COULDNT AGREE MORE ...I WAS UP AT 5AM TO GET MY VOTE IN AND ITS THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE THAT I HAVE VOTED. NO OTHER CANDIDATE HAS EVER MOVED ME IN SUCH A WAY. I FELT VERY LIBERATED AND A PEACEFUL SPIRIT JUST LED ME THROUGH THE ENTIRE DAY. MY SOUL SMILED! I BELIEVE GOD EVEN SMILED AND WAS PROUD BECAUSE NO MATTER OUR PAST ,OUR SITUATION OUR CIRCUMSTANCE THIS MAN(OBAMA) HAD THE CAPACITY, THE GULL, ENDURANCE AND INTELLIGENCE TO BE A LIVING WITNESS AND PROOVE TO US THAT THEIR IS TRULY NO LIMIT TO WHAT YOU CAN DO IF ONLY YOU WOULD JUST COMMIT! WITH THAT BEING SAID ....SKY IS THE LIMIT,LETS GET IT!- BC
