 Once again , I drew an Angel sketch during the 5 days
of SD Comic Con.
This is a 8.5" x 11" pencil sketch on Opalina paper (a Mexican paper) .
The name of the Model is Lisa Love. She is indeed an angel and such lovely person. She posed for me for this.
A fan from Deviant Art told me at the show 'it is a tradition now'. That I should draw an Angel every Comic Con. I thought is a good idea. So I will do that.
In fact, the 2008 Angel is in the 2009 SD Comic Con sketch Book.
I sold this sketch since the first day, even without finished, not even the hair. This Angel will fly to UK with the same collector that bought the 2008 Angel. And I'm happy for that because he is a good friend too.

Many fans came to the booth everyday to check the progress. I think as an artist you are obligate to draw something in front of your fans. They paid to enter to the show to see you, so you have to perform for them and respond all their questions.
So here it is.
This Angel is dedicate to the memory of my Grandmother, Esperanza.
Esperanza means "hope" in English. I had 3 dreams with her in those 5 days in San Diego. And I'm having more dreams lately. Unfortunately this dreams are very dark and disturbing. I believe dreams have a meaning and I know she's trying to tell me something, but I don't understand what is
so...
"Este Angel es para ti mi amada Pepis. No me dejes solo y Descansa en paz."
