We try to feature books here as a part of Noir - it is where many of the great films started. Many of our board members and officers are also authors including founder Eddie Muller with his nonfiction books on Film Noir as well as his novels
The Distance and
Shadow Boxer. Alan Rode's superior biography of Charles McGraw,
Portrait of a Film Noir Tough Guy and Foster Hirsch's seminal study of film noir
The Dark Side of the Screen are two excellent examples.
Add to that mix a book I think you might like. I co-wrote it so of course I would think that. Check it out
here and on
Facebook
The release date is October 1st. Thanks for looking at this and all the fine books by Film Noir Foundation members.
