Ahhhhh. Now it has all come to an end! I'm feeling a mixture of happiness and sadness! happiness because it was such an amazing experience; I met new people, made new friends, was able to share my songs to a fantastic audience and hear my songs performed live with an AMAZING band!! And sadness because its all over and I have to bring myself back down to earth!

Telstra Road to Tamworth, I have to say, was singularly one of the greatest experiences of my life! Although i did not come home with the winning prize, I feel I came back with so much more! I grew as a performer and as a musician. I learnt the importance of communication when you are on and off stage and how giving the audience some way of empathising with you and your song goes a long way!

The feedback I got on the night was incredible. I was on such a high over the rest of the week and was struggling to carry my head on my shoulders! haha. People that I had never met before were approaching  me and telling me how well I performed and how everyone seemed to be talking about me! It was such a great feeling to be recognised by people who I admired and considered my musical 'heroes'.

And so now i am back home, happy and sad, and wishing that i could go back to that amazing week and relive it! Cannot wait for next year!
