I started out thinking it would be fun doing seven open mics in a row, setting the table for my first birthday week in 2005. As it turns out I did 10 consecutive nights, wrote a cover song called I'll Cover You and met some surprising musicians along the way. I've been doing something a little more challenging each year since then.




Until then I had been a solo songwriter, something I still do, but that's when I  discovered the fun of hearing a song played live with other musicians.



Hope you find time to take in a show this year. Every night will be a different vibe thanks to my guest artists. There will be a tip jar for the musicians, and I hope you're generous, but there won't be any cover charges. And no cover songs—all originals, all week.
