"Stay On" is still getting great reviews and we hope to add more to list in the next few months. Our most recent review is by Twangville.com If you haven't checked out their site you should (especially if your an alt-country fan).

"This is the first release from Caleb Caudle featuring the Bayonets.  This is evident right from track one.  Whereas Caudle’s debut Red Bank Road , was a mostly acoustic affair of heartfelt classic Americana, Stay On uses more electric guitars and piano to create an almost R&B sound.  Luckily for the band, Caudle’s voice has that classic blue eyed soul texture.  However, it’s the faster paced rockers that are the standout on the record.  “When the Moment Comes” and “Our Heaven” in particular find the band treading a more catchy rock sound.  Several songs feature the lap steel guitar of former Everybodyfields side woman Megan McCormick, whose fabulous work on Red Bank Road is reprised here.
The Bayonets have created a strong first record that should get them plenty of notice, but something tells me this young band hasn’t reached its peak yet..."  -Eli Petersen

We are gonna play a sweet string of dates next weekend playing songs off "Stay On" and plenty of new ones too. Check us out:
June 18 in Columbia, SC with John Satterfield at New Brookland Tavern
June 19 hometown show in Camel City at the Werehouse

Glad you guys are getting some notice. I still play the copy you gave me regularly. Next time I see ya I will buy a real one from you personally, Caleb. I feel the same as this review. You guys stepped it up, big time , to another level but you guys have yet to reach your peak. Keep working on it. The last time I saw you at The Garage was by far the best show I've seen you do. It looked like you guys were really having fun and so did we! See ya soon, Scott.
