December 27, 2002

Christmas in New York is so beautiful, I decided to spend it with Rick, We spent the week ice skating, We had a snow ball fight in Central Park, and went around and looked at all the stores decked out in their Christmas best, It’s probably the best holiday I’ve had in years. We made plans to spend New Year’s eve together in times square.


January 3, 2003

Well I’ve been in New York for almost a year now, and Rick and I are talking about moving in together, We’ve only been together for less then 4 months and normally I try not to over analyze my decisions, just jump in feet first but there’s just something holding me back with this, I’m not sure what it is, but I have to give him my answer soon.

February 7, 2003

I decided not to move in with Rick yet, He was very understanding but I could tell that he was also hurt, I tried to explain to him that it just wasn’t the right time, but maybe in a couple months, He just nodded his head and said yeah maybe. I feel bad but I know in my heart that it was the right decision.

February 25, 2003

Two things happened today, First I got a 10 year reunion invitation in the mail today, I missed the 5 year, and I wasn’t  sure if I wanted to go to this one either,  Then Rick came over to tell me some great news, It seems that he got a job offer at the branch office my father worked at in Beverly Hills, He wants me to go with him, Maybe it’s a sign that I’m supposed to go to the reunion and face my demons.

March 9, 2003

Rick has left for California, He’s going to look for suitable housing as he calls it, Since Steve bought our old house moving back there is out of the question, I told him that my position hadn’t changed, I still didn’t want to live with him, I would move back with him but that I needed my own space,  He promised he would find us both something nice, and not that far apart. I’m a little nervous about going back but I’m also excited to see my friends, and to actually be able to go to a real beach again.
