There are very few places anywhere that you can go that you feel like home. The Bridgetown Pub was one of them. I am very sad to say that the Pub closed its doors this Friday Jan 2, 2009. I was a great joy for me to play, drink, and meet people there. Many of the people I meet there are life long friends. I will be posting some pictures of the New years Eve and last night that the pub was open. Look in my photo section.

Bummer Norm! What a loss to the live, local, indie music and art community! What are the plans for the place? Too bad the local live music and art crowd couldn't operate it as a co-op. Very sad for everyone who had many great memories there. The economic ripples of the Pub closing won't bode well for the Mount Holly and Burlington County community either. We need to beat this Depression! People get out and spend money at local clubs! Hope to see you soon, Norm, and Happy New Year.

Sad passing of a nice place. Especially significant to me since it was my first venue playing blues harp. Thanks again for giving me the opportunity to play with you at Bridgetown.
