What got us going on World Peace?
Both Big R and I had near Death experiences. Mine was in a car accident. My 2 year old son and myself were in a head on car accident with a combined force of over 100 mph. Lucky to have my life spared as well as my sons, left me asking questions to why we survived when everyone was telling us we shouldn't have. It left me looking inward to my life mission. On the First album "Empire of the Sun" there is a lot of darkness. Surviving a Divorce, a near Death Experience, 9/11. Left us needing to vent. So the first album is really a purging of Evil from our souls. It is fairly dark. Sometime during the recording of the second album last year "For the Love of the Rastaman" I came to understand that our mission was to Promote World Peace, Speak out against World injustice, by rocking the divine Third Beat of Reggae. Nothing could be more important then trying to be a Catalyst for Change in the World Peace Category. Big R and I have decided that we want to make a positive contribution to the World which is so much in need currently. We are disgusted with our World Leaders of all Countries and Faiths. Largely we believe that the World centers on the things that divide us all, instead of focusing on the very many things that we all share. We are going to try to bring people of the World together through our music. To promote the things we all share, instead of dwelling on the small differences that divide us all. Teach the World to grow up and Urge action among our fans. Action like Bob Marley Said "Stand Up For Your Rights". Our political leaders need to be held accountable for their actions. That will never happen unless we all mobilize our ideas into action. The Bottom line is that the ThreePeace mission for Peace is just as important as the music. We hope it becomes a vessel for real change in this World. If we only touch a few of you and you start to take action then it is very much worth it! Thanks for reading our bulletin.
